Integration

A key component of IT integration is the connection of data, applications, APIs, and devices across your IT organization in order to become more effective, productive, and agile. When discussing business transformation, integration is critical, as it allows everything in IT to work together to make your business more flexible as the market shifts. Integration does not only connect, but also adds value through the functionality provided by the integration of different systems' functions. It is important to distinguish IT integration from continuous integration (CI), in which working copies of code are merged into a shared repository on a daily basis.
