Any e-mail client software allows you to enter addresses in the “Cc:” and “Bcc:” fields when sending an e-mail to multiple people. “Cc:” stands for Carbon Copy, whereas “Bcc:” stands for Blind Carbon Copy. Alternatively, you can configure your whole email soft to automatically forward a copy of every e-mail that is sent and received to a specific address, without having to type it in punctually. Assume for a moment that you want to receive copies of this e-mail from a e-mail address that is not in fact that of a colleague in your company or organization, but rather that of a computer program that translates commands and instructions to execute the appropriate actions with each copy received. As a result, passive software can now be driven by the Cc field without having to run that software or use its interface.
